The annual Seychelles Unity Relay took place on Saturday 3 December.  Only 20 teams took part, compared to last year's 44 teams, but all teams were succesful in finishing the race.  The Special Force Unit (Tazer team) consisting of the country's most elite soldiers, won the race in a time of 4 hours 23 minutes 14 seconds.  As winners, the Tazar Team received a cash prize of SCR 10,000 as well as the floating trophy.

The Eden Island Team consisting of Laura Lotter, Peter Storey, Leigh Storey, Jakes De Bruyn, Shane Kleinschmidt, James Wei, Zoltan Sugar, Zsaklin Sugar, JB Ally, Amit Wasserburg, Chi Chi Longbotham (Medic), Guilbert Albert (official), George Simoen and Brian Laporte (Drivers) finished the race in 9th place and bettered their time from last year by over 40 mins.
